Review of Religious Journalism

Considering the importance of the views expressed in ‘Community Media,’ the Institute is now bringing the ‘Review of Religious Journalism’ in English containing the analysis of the articles published in religious journals of Pakistan.

The Practice of Presenting the review of important articles being published in the renowned and representative religious journals of all schools of thought in the form of quarterly papers in Urdu has been carried out for the last 5 years.
 
Considering the importance of knowing the views expressed in ‘Community Media’ for many individuals and institutions in politics, society and other national affairs, the Institute is now bringing the ‘Review of Religious Journalism’ in English while its circulation has been changed  to bi-monthly instead of quarterly.
 
This paper provides the analysis of the writings of religious journals towards national-international affairs and emerging scenarios, how homogeneous and different they are to one another and to the national and popular thinking and what reasons they are giving in favour of their view point.
 
Three bimonthly reviews will soon be published on the website. The practice of bringing the review in English is going through developing stages. The readers are invited to give their feedback.
