Salman Tahir is associated with IPS for about eighteen years as librarian and has played a vital role in developing it as a modern computerized source of reference. He holds Masters Degrees in Political Science and Library Science and proves to be a great help for researchers in exploring the required information from a collection of over 18000 books in Urdu, English and Arabic languages and over 200 journals and magazines received regularly.
