Tanvir Ahmad Khan

Tanvir Ahmad Khan is a former career diplomat who rose to the position of Foreign Secretary of the Government of Pakistan. During his distinguished career he served as ambassador to a number of countries including France, Russian Federation, Bangladesh, Czechoslovakia and Iran, and as the non-resident ambassador to Ireland and Finland. Before he served as ambassador, he also held senior positions in London, UK,  Bonn, West Germany and Kabul, Afghanistan. Tanvir Ahmad Khan has also served as the Director General and Chairman of the Institute of Strategic Studies, Islamabad. He is a regular contributor to the National and International media and has to his credit over 500 articles published in newspapers and journals.
