Cross Cultural Dimension of Cooperation

Policy Perspectives, Volume 9 , Special issue on “China and SAARC” 2012

Abstract

[China and South Asian countries have centuries-old civilisations, having strong influences.  The legacy of civilisations and cultures determines the way of thinking and the tendency of policy-making.  The cross-cultural vision and the understanding of this difference in cultural dimensions can help China and South Asian countries devise mutual cooperation for future.  And the awareness of the similarities and complementarities will make it possible to set the direction for mutual cooperation. – Author]
