With a view to orientate the mid-career researchers with theoretical as well as practical dimensions of Research in Social Sciences Institute of Policy Studies organizes interactive sessions from time to time with the senior and seasoned scholars. Such interactive academic sittings provide an insight to young researchers. The volume “Research: Concepts and Experiences” is based on the proceedings of three such sessions held with Prof. Khurshid Ahmad, Dr. Umer Chapra, Senior Research Advisor to the Islamic Research and Training Institute (IRTI) of the Islamic Development Bank, Jeddah, and Dr. Safeer Akhtar, Senior Research Fellow at IPS and Editor Nuqta-e-Nazar.
