Institute of Policy Studies (IPS) and Riphah Institute of Public Policy (RIPP) signed a memorandum of understanding on 24 June 2013 to explore cooperation in research projects, public policy education and capacity building activities on diversified subjects.
Institute of Policy Studies (IPS) and Riphah Institute of Public Policy (RIPP) signed a memorandum of understanding on 24 June 2013 to explore cooperation in research projects, public policy education and capacity building activities on diversified subjects.
The MoU was signed in a ceremony held at IPS by DG-IPS Khalid Rahman and Director RIPP, Dr Rashid Aftab. The ceremony was also attended by a number of officials from both the institutions.
The purpose of the MoU is to provide a framework to IPS and RIPP to cooperate and coordinate with each other in areas of mutual interest in terms of joint research and its dissemination, dialogue among policy makers/experts, course designing, faculty sharing, trainings on diversified subjects, joint diploma/certificate courses, workshops/seminars and sharing facilities and resources.
It may be mentioned that RIPP is being operating and functioning as a center of excellence of the Riphah International University in Islamabad. It has been established to offer academic programs, training, research and skills in the domain of Public Policy.
