Workshops on “Peace, Advocacy & Social Entrepreneurship”

IPS LEAD – the Learning, Excellence & Development program of Institute of Policy Studies – organized a couple of two-day workshops on 27-28 and 29-30 August for youth on the topic of “Peace, Advocacy & Social Entrepreneurship”.

The trainings were conducted by Pakistan Youth Change Advocates (PYCA) and was facilitated by its country manager, Ammar Zafrullah and program adviser, Areeba Shahid.

The workshop, which was aimed at the promotion of peace and harmony, focused on evaluation of hate-messages in term of propaganda or reality, amplification of one’s message using different means of communication, planning and development of lobbying and advocacy campaigns, and power of an individual in promoting a culture of tolerance and acceptance in the society.
