“Eagle Eye” – A workshop on human psychology

A psychology-based personality identification workshop, titled ‘Eagle Eye’, was organized by IPS LEAD – the Learning, Excellence and Development Program of Institute of Policy Studies – on May 5, 2015.

eagleeyThe workshop – a bonus learning experience offered to IPS LEAD’s alumni free-of-cost – was facilitated by Mohammad Asif, a senior trainer possessing years of experience in conducting human psychology based workshops along with trainings on clinical research.

Asif based the concept of his workshop on the hunting process of eagle, the bird of prey which first explores its surroundings, then focuses on its prey and finally launches the attack to complete the hunt.

Terming the process as ‘Eagle Eye’, the facilitator paralleled it with the process of understanding human psychology and personality types, which he categorized into red, yellow, green or blue; each color representing a set of personality traits and attributes. He also coached the participants about the most efficient ways to deal with the different personality types, whether having a single color or multicolored shades.

The workshop participants viewed the session a very useful one as it equipped them with the basic psychological tools to deal with people in their routine lives, e.g. friends, colleagues, bosses, students, customers, etc., more efficiently.
