Consultation Meeting: ‘Indigenizing Policy Research in Pakistan’

Citing the overwhelming influence of foreign narratives and ideals in research being produced in Pakistan, IPS LEAD – the learning, excellence and development program of IPS – organized a  consultative meeting ‘Indigenizing Policy Research’ on August 18, 2016.
Consultation MeetingThe meeting, which was attended by senior academicians, researchers and policy analysts, looked at various ways to better the interface between researchers and policy making institutions while deliberating upon ideas and suggestions to establish an ecosystem that could reap the benefits of country’s knowledge economy by setting its direction towards indigenous needs and meaningful, futuristic results.
