‘Third Wave of Modernization in Kazakhstan’

Lead Coordinator IPS Irfan Shahzad spoke on the ‘Third Wave of Modernization in Kazakhstan’ at a discussion session organized by the Embassy of Kazakhstan, Islamabad on March 17, 2017.

He contended that if implemented in letter and spirit, the measures announced in the third wave will take Kazakhstan several notches above the present level of development.

The measures announced, according to him, were also reflective of the changing global economic order and developments taking places in the region. As these announcements come together with the process of constitutional reforms aimed at devolution of presidential powers to the parliament and government, a positive impact can be expected, he opined.
