Session with alumni of NDU Government and Public Policy Dept.

IPS LEAD – the Learning, Excellence and Development Program of IPS – hosted a session to brainstorm research ideas for the alumni of the department of Government & Public Policy, National Defence University (NDU), Islamabad under its Indigenizing Policy Research in Pakistan Initiative, on February 13, 2018.

The main objective of the workshop-style session — conducted by DG-IPS Khalid Rahman was to build capacity of the MPhil degree holders in public policy research to make use of their research theses to produce publishable research papers in ‘Policy Perspectives’ the flagship journal of IPS – Institute of Policy Studies, Islamabad.

It was decided that the GPP-NDU Alumni Association and IPS will jointly form a working group of the Alumni members and IPS faculty which will hold monthly seminars to meet its objectives.
