Session on ‘Conflict Reporting’

IPS LEAD – the learning, excellence and development program of IPS – in collaboration with Riphah Institute of Media Sciences (RIMS), organized a session on ‘Conflict Reporting’ at the latter’s premises on February 23, 2018.

The session was addressed by Syed Iftikhar Gilani, a prominent Kashmiri journalist who is the bureau chief of Daily News and Analysis (DNA), India. The speaker shared tips, techniques and insights about conflict reporting, which is a specialized field of journalism that is still under-developed in developing countries like Pakistan.

IPS’ GM Operations Naufil Shahrukh and Director, Riphah Institute of Media Sciences Rehan Hasan also spoke on the occasion.
