SPDC’s Condolence Reference of Saeed Ahmed Qureshi (Late)

IPS was represented by Mirza Hamid Hasan, former federal secretary and member IPS-National Academic Council and Naufil Shahrukh, GM Operations in the memorial reference held in the honor of Saeed Ahmed Qureshi (Late) organized on April 17, 2019 in Islamabad by Social Policy and Development Centre (SPDC).

Saeed Ahmed Qureshi, Pakistan’s former secretary general finance and revenue, veteran economist and governance specialist was serving as a senior associate and member of IPS-National Academic Council and was also the chairman, board of governors of SPDC at the time of his demise on 10 March 2019.

Shahrukh read an obituary statement on the occasion on behalf of Khalid Rahman, Executive President IPS, shedding light mainly on different aspects of Qureshi’s rich personality, contributions and association with IPS.

The session was attended and addressed by a galaxy of statesmen and members of Pakistan’s intelligentsia including Sartaj Aziz, Dr. Ishrat Husain, Javed Jabbar, Shoaib Ahmad Siddiqui, Shoaib Sultan Khan, Dr Pervez Tahir and Dr. Khalida Ghaus, all of whom shared their thoughts and memories paying rich tributes to the departed soul.
