The Living Scripts | Shoaib Mir (member FPSC/Former Chief Secretary, Balochistan)

The second session of IPS’ series of programs ‘The Living Scripts’ was held with member Federal Public Service Commission (FPSC) and former chief secretary Balochistan Shoaib Mir on May 1, 2019.

Mir shared with the audience rich experiences he earned while working in the government sector, terming his tenure as chief secretary Balochistan as the most challenging period of his entire civil services career.

Mir also talked about his early life struggles and various ups and downs of his personal and professional life, sharing with the young aspirants alongside some valuable tips on how to stand firm in difficult times and deal with the challenges faced in life.

It is pertinent to mention here that the series of programs ‘The Living Scripts’ is aimed at acquiring tacit knowledge from experienced practitioners of civil services and imparting it to the audience for their inspiration as well as a food for their thought.
