A hands-on training on effective grant-based proposal development
IPS LEAD – the learning, excellence and development program of IPS is organizing a 4-day workshop titled ‘Get Your Research Funded’ with a view to share a wealth of ideas that can be profitably adopted to make your funding proposal cogent and compelling.
OUTCOMES:
The trainees will be able to,
a) Identify major characteristics of his project idea and determine if it is ‘solicited’ or ‘unsolicited’
b) Assess his/her capabilities
c) Refine the project idea and gather data to support it
d) Select funding source(s) and gather submission requirements
e) Identify needed content and layout the process
f) Gather and compare remaining elements of the proposal
g) Use a checklist to do a final review
h) Submit and notify
i) Revise, if needed
