Techno-economic analysis of Net-metered Solar PV Systems for Residential Households in Pakistan

This issue brief has been developed in continuation of the project study conducted by Institute of Policy Studies. The techno-economic analysis has been conducted for the residential consumers of the grid who have opted for PV based net-metering. The results demonstrate the financial advantages enjoyed by the prosumers after the integration of grid-tied PV system in terms of grid parity, reduction in energy consumption, return on investment, and net-profit at the end of the system lifecycle.
