The 40^th issue of Nuqta-e-Nazar is now published. Being brought out diligently by senior IPS associate Dr. Safir Akhtar since 1996-97, the bi-annual journal provides in-depth reviews and commentaries on Urdu books, especially on the topics of Islam and Pakistan.

The fortieth edition of the book has reviews of book mostly focusing on Islam, Tafseer of Quran, and the lifestyle of the holy prophet Muhammad S.A.W. Additionally, it features reviews of the books published on Pakistan, History of Subcontinent, biographies, etc. The new edition also includes reviews of a few travelogues.
