IPS’ GMO discusses the role of coastal communities at IPRI roundtable

IPS’ GM Operations Naufil Shahrukh was invited by Islamabad Policy Research Institute (IPRI) to participate as a discussant in a roundtable titled ‘Blue Economy of Pakistan’, which was held in collaboration with the Institute of Regional Studies (IRS), on July 28, 2022.

Speaking over ‘The role of coastal communities in blue economy’ during the session, Shahrukh maintained that mainstreaming coastal communities and their informal economy through an integrated development policy is not a matter of choice for Pakistan anymore; it is rather a critical need that must be addressed urgently.
