Pakistan needs to develop indigenous ranking systems, performance measures for development

A roundtable titled ‘Grand National Dialogue on Pakistan’s political system and governance’ was organized jointly by Institute of Policy Studies (IPS), Islamabad, and Islamabad Policy Research Institute (IPRI) on October 20, 2022. During the session, IPS chairman Khalid Rahman stressed the timely recognition of the problems, while accepting the issues with strong willpower to combat them. He also said though global indexes provided general indications, Pakistan needed to develop indigenous ranking systems and performance measures for development.
