VC-IPS highlights prospects of strategic Pak-Afghan partnership for regional peace

On the invitation of National University of Science and Technology (NUST)’s Centre for International Peace & Stability (CIPS), IPS’ Vice Chairman Ambassador (r) Syed Abrar Hussain participated in an expert panel discussion titled ‘Pak-Afghan Relations: The Future Prospects’ on January 3, 2023.

VC-IPS apprised the panel on the occasion over the prospects of strategic partnership for regional peace through mutual geopolitical interests and sustainability through people-to-people interaction. He underscored the strategic importance of Afghanistan and Pakistan’s bilateral ties in terms of socioeconomic, political, commerce, and people-to-people interactions.
