IPS, Bahria University join hands for research and resource-sharing

Aimed at fostering collaboration in the areas of research, capacity building, resource sharing and publishing, IPS signed a MoU with Bahria University (BU), Islamabad, on January 12, 2023.

The MoU was signed by Khalid Rahman, chairman, IPS, and Rear Admiral Naveed Rizvi, HI(M), director general, Bahria University Islamabad Campus, while, Ambassador (r) Syed Abrar Hussain, vice chairman, IPS, Naufil Shahrukh, GM Operations, IPS, Syed Nadeem Farhat, senior research fellow, IPS, Shafaq Sarfraz, senior manager outreach, IPS, Dr Adam Saud, dean Humanities & Social Sciences, BU, and Dr Sufi Ghulam Hussain, associate professor, BU, were present at the signing ceremony.

The collaboration aims to explore the areas of cooperation in research, academic programs, publishing projects, and capacity-building initiatives in various areas such as public policy, human development, faith and society, internships for students, community engagement, and others.

Both institutions aim to undertake joint research and publishing endeavors, disseminate research findings and analysis, foster dialogue among scholars, experts, and policymakers, share intellectual resources, knowledge, and expertise, offer capacity building courses and hold workshops, seminars, lectures, training on diversified subjects, and other joint initiatives.
