During a roundtable discussion ‘Regional Cooperation in the Eurasian Region: Role of the SCO’, held at IPS on July 20, 2023, Dr Sarwat sheds light on how Pakistan’s geostrategic location and trade potential continue to capture global attention. The SCO (Shanghai Cooperation Organization) presents a promising solution to Pakistan’s economic meltdown and security concerns, but embedded historical problems must be addressed, she stressed.
