‘Trans-Himalaya Development Cooperation and One Belt One Road Initiative’

On the invitation of China Institute of Contemporary International Relations (CICIR), DG-IPS Khalid Rahman participated in a two-day conference, ‘Trans-Himalaya Development Cooperation and One Belt One Road Initiative’, in Yunnan, China on August 25-26, 2015.

hamali1The two-days conference intended to bring on board the trans-Himalayan countries, including China, India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Nepal, Burma, Myanmar and Afghanistan, to explore and discuss ideas related to connectivity and cooperation among the countries in this region as part of the ‘One Belt One Road (OBOR)’ initiative by China.
