‘Tehreek-e-Azadi-e-Kashmir: Badalte Halaat aur Pakistan ki Policy’ (The Freedom Movement of Kashmir: Changing Circumstances and Pakistan’s Policy) – a book by renowned scholar, former senator, and Chairman, Institute of Policy Studies, Islamabad, Professor Khurshid Ahmad has been published by the Institute’s publishing arm IPS Press.
The book is being launched exclusively on 5 February 2016, which is celebrated across the world as Kashmir Solidarity Day.
The author has deliberated upon the historical, principle and constitutional aspects of the Kashmir issue, inefficacy of United Nations, dual standards and insensitivity of international powers,as well as the approach of Pakistani government and the civil society over the matter.
The book is a must-have not only for policy circles concerned with Kashmir issue but also for the students studying Kashmir as a subject.
